    Portland, 4th of July, 2010. We slept both nights in my car on the streets in Mount Tabor park in Portland, OR. Didn’t know anyone there so between going to the skateparks, Tabor would be where we ended up. Its an old volcano thats now a park in the city. Downtown had a legitimate fireworks show going on but the locals had enough explosives to blow that show out of the water. Everyone going nuts in every direction and we were lighting off the little bottlerockets and zoomers that we had. Freedom Weekend 2010.
